Central America just sounds exotic doesn't it?

We've put together a trip you'll be telling folks about for the rest of your life and we're inviting you to escape the everyday and join us on the adventure of a lifetime! Join Mike n Melissa and host of other explorers for this unforgettable vacation through the exotic lands of Central America. This is truly an adventure of epic proportions that's a lot cheaper than you might think. The tour starts in one of the most amazing countries of all of Central America, Belize! Weeks one and two take place on the barrier islands of Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker Belize. These weeks are what we call “the main event” and chock full of fun in the Caribbean sun with a host of your favourite songwriters and several hundred fellow travellers. Week one is geared toward the party crowd and features many of the modern day Trop Rock and other genre artists. Week two is a little more laid back and aptly dubbed “Parrothead Roots week” where we feature the artists from days gone by who we don’t get to see as often these days…an attempt to recreate some of the best memories from the early days of the genre. You might arrive alone, but you’ll leave with a hundred new friends from all over the country! That is the specialness we strive for with our event…we give you plenty of diversity and options to customize your own vacation within the event..and make a lot of new friends in the process.

Week three takes us to the mountain interior of Belize and the jungle town of San Ignacio with day trips to explore the area’s Mayan sites as well as the ancient Mayan city of Tikal in Guatemala. We finish off week three on Thursday in Belize city where you can fly home or continue with us to Roatan and Utila Honduras for week four.

Week four begins on the island paradise of Roatan Honduras where we spend our first four nights in the West End area with plenty of fun in the Honduran sun. We continue by water taxi on Wednesday for two more days on the much more chill neighboring island of Utila before returning for a final night in Roatan to catch your Saturday return flight home.

Week 5 is actually a stand alone event that takes place in early May and begins in the northwest corner of Costa Rica with your flight into Liberia and we “make camp” on the Pacific side- in the village of Playas Del Coco. From this home base, we'll spend five days exploring volcanoes, jungles, waterfalls, wildlife, zip lines, volcanic river rafting and enjoy a day sail on the Pacific Ocean. We move from the beach to the mountain cloud forest for two days at the Blue River Resort tucked deep in the jungle cloud forest surrounded by nature in your own private bungalow. We close the week with three more days in the Spanish Colonial city of Granada Nicaragua for your final passport stamp of the adventure. Here we'll have a kayak tour on Lake Nicaragua along with a visit to the crater's edge of Masaya Volcano where you can safely view the magma lake boiling up a thousand feet below-one of only three places on Earth where this is possible. At the end of the week, you'll fly home from Managua Airport.

You can choose your favorite week, come back and take a different leg each year, or join us for the entire expedition at once. Whatever you choose, I promise you will return home with a completely new outlook on one of the most incredible places on earth and the people who call these countries home.

Put Meeting of the Mayans on your yearly vacation list and let us blow your mind…Mayan style!

AMBERGRIS CAYE AND CAYE CAULKER

The Main Event

Our adventure starts with the first two weeks in the town of San Pedro Belize on the breathtaking island of Ambergris Caye.  These are the biggest weeks of the entire expedition and we buy out two entire hotels for our group of over 200 guests each week.  The two weeks are designed to be similar in style, but very different experiences so there’s a little something for everyone. You'll fly a short 2hrs from MIA or HOU into BZE International Airport and take a quick hop flight to the island. We'll spend the week exploring, relaxing and enjoying the great live music from multiple artists and immerse you into Belizean culture while shaking off those cold winter blues....Mayan style!  Each week ends with a return hop flight to Belize City to head back home or continue with us.

Choose the week that best fits your style, or join us for both! Though the venues and the island are the same for both weeks- the artists, the vibe and the audience will experience two different sides of this amazing place and a thousand reasons to keep coming back year after year! We’re even including a very spacial show hosted by none other than Kelly McGuire himself as a nod to “The Lighthouse Court” in hopes of recapturing some of the magic of days gone by. You’re going to love this!!

WEEK 1: Friday January 24 to Saturday February 1, 2025.

The first week is geared toward the “party vacation” crowd and features many of the modern day artists from the Trop Rock and other genres. This week is choc full of music performances, a little more fast paced, and a party atmosphere-so if that’s what you’re looking for, this week is most definitely for you. We include all of the same events and venues on both weeks, but the crowds and the vibe are just a little bit different…which makes each week it’s own unique experience!

WEEK 2: Saturday February 1 to Saturday February 8, 2025

The second week is our nod to where we came from with what we call the “Parrothead Roots” week. There will still be plenty of partying and fun, but at a slightly slower pace-and with more daytime performances featuring many of the artists who helped create the culture of Parrothead and Trop Rock. We have the opportunity with this week of the event to try and recreate some of the best memories of “Key West’s past” and pay honor to the roots of our genre…and San Pedro is the perfect throwback to early Key West backdrop!

BELIZE JUNGLES AND GUATEMALA

WEEK 3: Saturday February 8 to Friday February 14, 2025

We start week three of our adventure from Belize City as we head into the mountains and jungle to visit the town of San Ignacio Belize on the Guatemalan border.  We'll spend five days exploring this area's Mayan ruins and culture. We've got a group field trip pontoon day to the jungle waterfalls, an opportunity to visit several Mayan sites in the area, a day trip to Tikal Guatemala, cave tubing on the Belize river and an overnight in Belize City included.  Many of our week two guests from San Pedro will extend their vacation a little longer for this week and it’s a perfect compliment to the island vibe of Ambergris Caye. It can also be a great hop on point to taste a different flavor before we head to Roatan for week four.

ROATAN AND UTILA, HONDURAS

Week 4: Saturday February 15 to Friday February 21, 2025

Week four takes us to the island of Roatan Honduras where we will spend Saturday to Wednesday exploring all that the West End area offers. World class diving, fishing, and beaches in a perfect laid back atmosphere combined with a fun and vibrant nightlife. It’s the perfect mix of party and chill complete with a few Mike Nash shows sprinkled in. On Wednesday we take the water taxi to Roatan’s much more laid back neighbor of Utila. Here in this Robinson-Crusoe’esque island paradise, we’ll have two more days to absolutely chill and enjoy a vacation from your vacation. We are the party when it comes to Utila! On Friday morning most of the group will return to Roatan by ferry and subsequent return US flight home late afternoon- or you can let your adventurous side out and continue from Utila by water taxi to mainland Honduras and on to San Pedro Sula (SAP) airport where you can choose your flight home on COPA airlines which includes an up to 5 day “free layover” in Panama City so you can add another passport stamp to your adventure. The options are endless!

WEEK 5 PART 1- COSTA RICA

Coming soon for May of 2025!

You’ll fly direct into Liberia Costa Rica (LIR) and we’ll spend 6 days in our boutique hotel on the shores of the Pacific with day trips and excursions to see all the best that Costa Rica has to offer. Waterfalls, volcanoes, wildlife and “pure vida”. If you’ve done any of the other weeks, you’ll immediately feel that warm Central American friendliness from the moment you land. It’s breathtakingly unique and beautiful!, The first part of week five also includes a day sail on our own private catamaran on the Pacific and you’ll have plenty of time to relax or choose a multitude of excursions or fishing/diving trips.
