Getting there…
You'll only need to book your round trip to Belize City International (BZE) and we'll take care of the rest. All major US carriers fly here and most flights arrive within a few hours of each other. BZE is a small airport and easy to navigate. You'll clear customs and re-check for your hop flight which is included.
Your round trip hop flight from BZE to Ambergris Caye (San Pedro-SPR) is included in the package and we will take care of booking this for you. It includes one 50# check bag and one carry on. You'll take the short 15 minute hop over to the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye and our staff will be there waiting on your arrival.
The most common way to get around in San Pedro is with a golf cart. Though several of our venue locations are walkable, you’ll likely want the freedom of a golf cart to explore the island on your own schedule. You might also choose to share with friends and cut the costs. We have made this an option for that reason.
Week 1 of our event is “Get the Party Started” and we feature artists both in and around the Trop Rock genre. This week is geared more towards the late night party crowd with several shows going on until midnight and a full schedule of activities.
Week 2 is “Keep the Party Going” week where we’ll do just that-for another seven days in paradise! Nobody’s letting off the gas here. This week will feature different artists than Week 1, but the fun and energy level are staying full throttle as we pepper up the sauce with more Parrothead flavor. Pack your pirate gear and let’s keep the island rocking!
Many of our guests will stay for both weeks as both are chock full of fun in the Belizean Sun…skip the winter and join us!
WEEK 2 MOTM ITINERARY
Saturday - Arrival Day, John Patti and The Grand Opening of the Tiki Bar Pirates
After arriving at San Pedro airport (hop flight included), our staff will greet you and direct you where you need to go. If you are staying at Sunbreeze (the host hotel) our stewards will be there to handle your luggage directly across the street from the airport to the resort where you’ll get checked in and immediately into vacation mode. If you’re staying at the other properties, our staff will connect you with each property’s respective concierge who’ll deliver you and your bags to your resort. You’ll have your first few hours to relax and get into vacation mode after the long travel day and join us at your leisure. If you have chosen a first day golf cart, this will also be delivered to you upon arrival or shortly afterward.
Saturday evening: come grab your first drink and a bite at Bluewater Grill (our host venue) and enjoy a Welcome to the Island Show with John Patti as he and his steel pans put you immediately into the island vibe!
Saturday night we’ll get the party started on the main stage with a fun filled night of high energy, full band music. We’re honored to have Jerry Diaz officially joining the party in 2027 and we’ve put together an “Ambergris Reef Band” to back him up and get our week 2 off to a proper start. “The Godfather of Trop Rock” will be followed by first time Mayans- Jonas Lorence Band -who’ll definitely be keeping us dancing all night! Jonas and the boys are coming all the way from Austin Texas this year to help keep the island rockin’ all week long. Get on your dancing shoes and get ready to hit the ground running this year for week 2…we’ve gotta “keep the party going” after all!

Sunday - Mike Nash & Kelly McGuire, The Lighthouse Sessions, Cart Decorating & Jimmy Buffett Tribute
You’ll spend your first full day of vacation chillaxing in the pool and grounds of our host hotel, the Sunbreeze, with music, fun and memories yet to be made. Mike Nash & Kelly McGuire will kick things the same way this event began years ago…just two friends on bar stools swapping songs and stories and getting us all into the “island state of mind”. After this show, Kelly will take over and take us back to those good ole days in Key West as he re-creates the Lighthouse vibe you’ve been missing for years. You’ll spend the afternoon with Kelly and a host of amazing talent as he does what only he can do!

It’s a Rag Top Day! For those of you who would like to add to the fun, we'll be dressing up our carts and doing a little parade through town for Sunday night’s Parrothead Party, so bring all the fun stuff you'd like!
Sunday night get your out your craziest Parrothead and Pirate gear for a grand welcome party with a full band of American artists and local Belizean artists! This will be an unforgettable, one of a kind tribute show to the music of the man himself who brought us all together in the first place-Jimmy Buffett! Mike Nash hosts "Thank God The Tiki Bar Is Open” with all of the week 2 artists-and some extras-in a full band set up, only steps from your room. “Keep the party going” with the “songs we all know by heart”.

Monday - Daytime Del Rio Strip Shows and VIP Crab Races
Monday we’re splitting the group for simultaneous shows by two artists. Heather Vidal will start the day at the first location while Sunny Jim starts at the other. They’ll each play a set, and then swap stages to do it all again at the second location. You pick the vibe you’re feeling, find your perfect spot, and let the music come to you all afternoon! (VIP and Passholders only)
Monday afternoon will wrap with an exclusive Cliff Cody and Mike Nash showcase at yet another location to keep those good vibes flowing and stretch the day just a little bit longer!
Monday evening we’ll offer an optional VIP only crab race special for our group at Nauti Crab. You’ve just gotta see this to believe it! It’ll be a nice change of pace from the music schedule, and Rob (the owner) puts on a show of his own. We also managed to raise $2240 for the children’s charity in just a few hours in 2026, so the bar has been set! (VIP ONLY)
*if you choose to skip the crab race, Monday night will be open on the schedule to support Kelly McGuire’s show.

Tuesday - Field Trip to Happy Island Bar at Secret Beach and Mike Nash BYOB Beach Party
New for 2027: This would be the perfect day to book your own excursions if you’ve already been with us before. As you know, Secret Beach is more of a laid back day off and if you’re doing morning activities, you can still make it to us in time for the afternoon music if you’d like. Also note that we have added a group snorkel trip option for Thursday which can fill that need for you if you’re so inclined.
After two non-stop days and nights of music and partying, you need a chill day drinking spot…so Tuesday we'll load the carts up and head north…WAY north! We’ll spend the day chilling in knee deep water in paradise at our private host bar Happy Island at Secret Beach! Secret Beach is one of the most beautiful hidden gems on the island and it makes for an incredible day of doing absolutely nothing but drinking and getting to know your fellow Mayans. This is the day we all become one big family!
1-4pm- We’ll feature the music of our friend and local artist Brent Butcher for the afternoon. This is a totally laid back show and afternoon and Brent plays a wide variety of Tropical Texas music. It’s the perfect vibe for an unforgettable day of doing nothing at all!
Tuesday Night will be a very chill-beach blanket style show with Mike Nash and friends under the Belizean stars. BYOB (bring your own blanket) or grab a chair and find the perfect stretch of sand as Mike and the other artists “sit around the fire” passing the rum and guitars.

Wednesday - Pick Your Poison day and Artist Showcase Night
Wednesday is pick your poison day! We’ve got two awesome venues with music all afternoon. The bars are a short golf cart ride (or stagger) apart and both artists’ shows will be taking simultaneous breaks in the middle if you decide you want a change of venue. Venue #1 will feature two of the “three amigos”-Kelly McGuire and Sunny Jim on stage together while Cliff Cody takes over venue #2 for the day. Pick your poison and enjoy “another day in paradise”!

Thursday - A Caulker Afternoon with Mike Nash & John Patti
NEW FOR 2027! We’ve added a snorkeling/catamaran group excursion option for this day! We know many of you have been asking for a group snorkeling day, and our friends at Seaduced are ready to fill this void for us in 2027! We used them in 2026 merely as an alternate transport to Caye Caulker, but their normal day excursion trip includes a snorkeling adventure at Shark-Ray-Alley where you get to swim with rays and nurse sharks along with incredible reef snorkeling at HolChan Marine Reserve. They start early at 8am, and after snorkeling, you’ll join the rest of the group for a few hours at Caye Caulker before slow rolling back to San Pedro, so you won’t miss a thing! All of the catamaran guests raved about the crew and the boats in 2026, so here’s a way to knock out two birds with one stone and add some more adventure to your trip! This option can be added to any package (you’ll see the add-on link at the bottom of all of the room order forms). For everyone else, your VIP package includes the round trip private ferry which is the way the majority of us will travel for the day. For many of you who’ve done the Caye Caulker by ferry day in the past, this Seaduced Package will be an great opportunity to squeeze in a snorkel tour with some of your new Mayan friends and add to your vacation!
Private Ferry Guests: Now that you'll have a good feel for what Ambergris Caye and San Pedro are all about, it's time to go island hopping! We'll head out Thursday morning by water taxi to visit San Pedro's much more laid back neighbor island of Caye Caulker! Picture a much slower vibe than San Pedro; very few golf carts here. In fact, you can walk the entire 10 blocks long by 2 blocks wide island in a few minutes-but there's still plenty to do here on our day trip. You can hand feed the tarpon, search for sea horses at the sea horse preserve and even hand feed stingrays…or just “park it up down at The Lizard” and drink the day away with music by Mike Nash, John Patti and Friends. Grab yourself a "panty rippah”, have a fresh grilled lobster, get in some souvenir shopping, or just enjoy the laid back vibe that is a “Caulker Afternoon”!
8am- Seaduced Catamaran Group will board at the host hotel dock (extra purchase necessary)
10:30am- Our private ferry will board at the ferry terminal in town
11am-private ferry arrives at Caye Caulker
12-3pm - Mike Nash and Friends at The Lazy Lizard (completely optional, you can also go explore!)
12:30ish- Seaduced Catamaran arrives at The Lazy Lizard
3-5:30pm - Tarpon & Stingray feeding and exploring the island at your own pace
4pm- Seaduced Catamaran leaves for slow stroll back to San Pedro
5:30pm- Private ferry leaves for San Pedro
6pm - Catamaran and VIP guests return to San Pedro
We have left Thursday night open on our official schedule to give you time to support local artists or make your own plans.

Friday - Daytime Jim Morris Tribute & Grand Finale Party
Friday we’ll wind down the week with a very special VIP only-Tiburon Rum & Fin Tequila sponsored show. Sunny Jim and John Patti will be leading us with an all star cast as we tribute the music of the legendary Jim Morris and pay honor to one of the pioneers of Trop Rock music. Jim and John being original Big Bamboo members will be sharing their special stories and memories as we do our best to keep the music alive and “keep the party going”. We can’t think of a better way to wrap up this “roots week” or a better backdrop for this special show than our favorite bar on the island, Wayo’s!

5:30pm - Friday at the beach in front of the host hotel we’ll be treated to a live performance by the San Pedro High School Marching Band which is our major charity for the event. After the band’s performance, Mike Nash takes the stage and hosts a full band finale with all of the week’s artists. We’re ending your vacation and time in Belize on a “high note”, but we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Saturday - End of week 2 or Caye Caulker Rehab
Returning home: If you are leaving the expedition Saturday, you will cross the street to the airport where you'll take the quick 15 minute hop flight (included) back to Belize City for your return flight to the U.S.. Most US flights don't leave until at least 1pm or later, so you'll have plenty of time to grab lunch or a few more vacation drinks at the airport. You do have an option to stay longer at our group hotel rate if you find a cheaper U.S. flight later in the week, in which case we will book your hop flight whenever needed. Just let us know!
Sticking around? There’s no need to rush off! If you’re not ready to end your vacation on Saturday, you’re welcome to stay as long as you like! In fact we have quite a few who do! Just let us know if you’ll need to extend your room and we’ll get everything set up for you. Most of our hotels should have availability into the following week and it’s easy to extend your vacation. All of our “Mayan Camp” collection properties are conveniently located within the festival event areas or only steps from the host hotel. Sunbreeze Suites is the sister property to our host hotel. It is located approximately a ten minute easy walk up the beach (five minutes by golf cart). This boutique property is in a great location in the heart of it all, with restaurants and shopping just steps away. It features all one-bedroom suites with a separate living room area/dining area and full kitchens. There is a restaurant and small bar on site as well as a nice plunge pool. The property has a total of 20 rooms of which our group takes over half. Sunbreeze Suites is a wonderful location within walking distance of the host hotel and also many of our music venues and camps just to the north.

Ramon’s Village is simply breathtaking! One of the nicest and best maintained resorts on the entire island; every detail is covered with this property. If you are looking for a unique “resort style” vacation Ramon’s will most certainly impress. All of the Tahitian styled cottages are nestled throughout tropical gardens of Royal Palms, bougainvillea, lilies, hibiscus and dozens of other types of tropical flora. Caye Hotel San Pedro is a perfect spot for solo travelers, groups of friends, or travelers who are just a bit more budget minded.. We’ve chosen this property because of it’s exceptional value and convenient proximity to the host hotel where many of the shows take place. The Caye is literally two blocks from Sunbreeze and because you’ll be VIP, you’re welcome to come use our pool and grounds at any time! Admittedly the rooms are nothing fancy, but they are very clean and comfortable and they have everything you need for a perfect vacation! The hotel was built new from the ground up in late 2024 so all of the rooms have brand new modern touches and comfy beds. It is a great spot in the middle of it all that’ll save you some drinking money and you won’t be spending much time in the rooms anyway!

Blue Tang has a total of nine one bedroom suites which include a living area and kitchen. This property is a perfect location in the heart of the festival, and though they do not have an onsite restaurant/bar, they do include continental breakfast and have a beautiful private pool area. Blue Tang is also only steps from Palapa Bar and many other dining options and bars along the beach strip where many of our music shows will take place. It is about a ten minute golf cart ride from the host hotel. With only nine suites, it’s a great spot to book with your friends!

HOST HOTEL - SUNBREEZE RESORT
Our gorgeous accommodations at Sunbreeze Resort in San Pedro couldn't be more convenient, affordable and luxurious! Sunbreeze is our primary host hotel where several of our music shows will take place. This location typically sells out fast, but not to worry, we have other fantastic options literally right next door and others very close in the general area so everything is within reach. All guests staying at any of our hotels will receive VIP status which comes with access to the host hotel (Sunbreeze) grounds, pool and the shows at the Sunbreeze stage as well as VIP only events. Please check out our other properties below.

There are a ton of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance including delicious dining and drink options right on property at BlueWater Grill owned by our good friends Donald and Cathrine!
