Getting there…
You'll only need to book your round trip to Belize City International (BZE) and we'll take care of the rest. All major US carriers fly here and most flights arrive within a few hours of each other. BZE is a small airport and easy to navigate. You'll clear customs and re-check for your hop flight which is included.
Your round trip hop flight from BZE to Ambergris Caye (San Pedro-SPR) is included in the package and we will take care of booking this for you. It includes one 50# check bag and one carry on. You'll take the short 15 minute hop over to the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye and our staff will be there waiting on your arrival.
The most common way to get around in San Pedro is with a golf cart. Though several of our venue locations are walkable, you’ll likely want the freedom of a golf cart to explore the island on your own schedule. You might also choose to share with friends and cut the costs. We have made this an option for that reason.
Week 1 of our event is “Get the Party Started” and we feature artists both in and around the Trop Rock genre. This week is geared more towards the late night party crowd with several shows going on until midnight and a full schedule of activities.
Week 2 is “Keep the Party Going” where we’ll do just that…but hopefully at just a slightly slower pace! We’ll feature different artists than Week 1, many of whom are directly related to the Trop Rock genre. This week also has a bit more Parrothead related flair and a little more time baked in for excursions and relaxing on your vacation. Many of our guests will stay for both weeks as both are chock full of fun in the Belizean Sun…skip the winter and join us!
NOTE: if you plan on doing both weeks 1 & 2 with us, you will not need the hop flights for both weeks. Please make sure to click “doing both weeks” on your order form so you are not charged for both weeks flights.
WEEK 2 MOTM ITINERARY
Saturday - Arrival Day and The Grand Opening of the Order of the Tiki Bar Pirates
After arriving at San Pedro airport (hop flight included), our staff will greet you and direct you where you need to go. If you are staying at Sunbreeze (the host hotel) our stewards will be there to handle your luggage directly across the street from the airport to the resort where you’ll get checked in and immediately into vacation mode. If you’re staying at the other properties, our staff will connect you with each property’s respective concierge who’ll deliver you and your bags to your resort. You’ll have your first few hours to relax and get into vacation mode after the long travel day and join us at your leisure. If you have chosen a first day golf cart, this will also be delivered to you upon arrival or shortly afterward. Come grab a bite at Bluewater Grill (our host venue) and enjoy live local music by the pool!
We’re kicking off week 2 with a fun filled night of music with an in-the-round show on location within stumbling distance of your room for the first night!

Sunday - The Lighthouse Sessions, Cart Decorating & Jimmy Buffett Tribute
you’ll spend your first day of vacation chillaxing in the pool and grounds of our host hotel, the Sunbreeze, for a very special day of music and memories. For those of us who miss “the old lighthouse days” from Key West, we are attempting to recreate that vibe at the Sunbreeze Bluewater Stage and we’ve got Kelly McGuire himself to bring it all together! Sunday afternoon we’ll chill under the Belizean sun at the host hotel as Kelly along with hosts an array of incredible artists and music all afternoon. Kelly is “the King of the Island” and the reason we found Belize in the first place! In 2018 Kelly brought Mike and Melissa to the island for the first time and none of us had any clue back then that first visit would turn into this.…sounds similar to a story I’ve heard about a couple of guys named Jerry Jeff Walker and Jimmy Buffett and another island somewhere?!

It’s a Rag Top Day! For those of you who would like to add to the fun, we'll be dressing up our carts and doing a little parade through town for Sunday night’s Parrothead Party, so bring all the fun stuff you'd like!
Sunday night get your out your craziest Parrothead and Pirate gear for a grand welcome party with a full band of our American artists and local Belizean artists! This will be an unforgettable and one of a kind tribute show to the music of the man himself, Jimmy Buffett! Mike Nash hosts "Thank God The Tiki Bar Is Open” with all of the week 2 artists and some extras in a full band set up. “Keep the party going” with the music that brought us all together in the first place!

Monday - Field Trip to Happy Island Bar at Secret Beach
After two non-stop days and nights of music and partying, you need a chill day drinking spot…so Monday we'll load the carts up and head north…WAY north! We’ll spend the day chilling in knee deep water in paradise at our private host bar Happy Island at Secret Beach! Secret Beach is one of the most beautiful hidden gems on the island and it makes for an incredible day of doing absolutely nothing but drinking and getting to know your fellow Mayans. This is the day we all become one big family!
1-4pm- We’ll feature the music of our friend and local artist Brent Butcher for the afternoon. This is a totally laid back show and afternoon and Brent plays a wide variety of Tropical Texas music. It’s the perfect vibe for an unforgettable day of doing nothing at all!
Monday evening we’ve got a private crab race special for our group at Nauti Crab. You’ve just gotta see this to believe it! It’ll be a nice change of pace from the music and Rob (the owner) puts on a show of his own! (VIP ONLY)
*if you choose to skip the crab race, Monday night will be open on the schedule.

Tuesday - Daytime Shows and Artist Showcase
We’ll start the day with Bloody Mary’s at one of our favorite bars on the island. You’re going to love the atmosphere and staff here and the back drop couldn’t be better! There are multiple seating areas both shaded and for soaking up the sun, or you can even bring a float along and enjoy the afternoon show from knee deep water around the bar’s edge! It’s the perfect backdrop to host a songwriter show as you slip into the Caye Vibe for the afternoon. (VIP and Passholders only).
When we wrap things up at Wayo’s, we’re keeping the party going with Mike Nash at Nauti Crab literally staggering distance down the beach! Nauti Crab is another of our favorite spots we want you to fall in love with (and drink them out of Screwball shots!). This open air, beachfront hideaway is usually jam-packed every night with special events that the owner’s Rob and Christa put on, but on Tuesday afternoon the Mayan’s are taking over for a Block Party afternoon and you’re going to love it! (VIP and Passholders only)
Tuesday night we’ll keep the party going with a duo songwriter show only steps from your room. (VIP and Passholders only)

Wednesday - Take a vacation from your vacation day!
Wednesday is completely yours! Check out that restaurant you’ve been hearing about, book a dive/snorkel or fishing trip, head back to spend the day at one of your favorite spots, head to Tranquility Bay for the day…there is so much to do and see on the island outside of our festival that we want to give you an entire day and night to do what you want to do!
Wednesday Night Mike Nash will be performing an exclusive VIP only show.

Thursday - Island Hopping to Caye Caulker
Now that you'll have a good feel for what Ambergris Caye and San Pedro are all about, it's time to go island hopping! We'll head out Thursday by water taxi to visit San Pedro's much more laid back neighbor island of Caye Caulker! (the private ferry is for VIP only, but passholders can take the public ferry-there is also a private Pirate Catamaran available for purchase here that can be added to any package)
Picture a much slower vibe than San Pedro; very few golf carts here. In fact, you can walk the entire 8 blocks long by 2 blocks wide island in a few minutes-but there's still plenty to do here on our day trip. You can hand feed the tarpon, search for sea horses at the sea horse preserve and even hand feed stingrays…or just “park it up down at The Lizard” and drink the day away with music by Mike Nash and John Patti. Grab yourself a "panty rippaah”, have a fresh grilled lobster, get in some souvenir shopping, or just enjoy the laid back vibe that is a “Caulker Afternoon”!
10:15am- Load the Pirate Catamaran (purchase necessary)
10:30am- Pirate Catamaran leaves San Pedro
10:45am- Load the private ferry (VIP only)
11am- VIP ferry leaves San Pedro
*the public ferry runs every hour and a half for pass holders and general public (purchase at the gate)
11:30am- arrive to Caye Caulker
11:30am-2pm - exploring the island at your own pace
2-4pm - Mike Nash, Aloha Steve, John Patti and friends at The Lazy Lizard Stage for an island bliss afternoon
4-5pm - Stingray feeding and exploring the island at your own pace
4:30pm-Pirates private Catamaran leaves for San Pedro (purchase necessary)
5:30pm- VIP private ferry leaves for San Pedro (included in VIP packages)
6pm - Pirate Catamaran and VIP ferry guests return to San Pedro
*the last public ferry leaves for San Pedro at 5:30pm (for general public and pass holders)
We have left Thursday night open on our official schedule to give you time to support local artists or make your own plans.

Friday - Patti Pool Party & Grand Finale Party
Friday you can choose to spend your final afternoon of your vacation with a special Tiburon Rum & Fin Tequila sponsored Pool Party with John Patti at the Bluewater Pool (VIP and Passholders Only) or squeeze in a last visit to your favorite spot for one more drink…it’s your last day of vacation so spend it wisely!
Friday night you’ll be treated to one final show with all of the artists at the main stage. This will be the perfect ending to a perfect week as you say goodbye to your friends new and old and sadly have to return home from our week in Wonderland.

Saturday - End of week 2 or Caye Caulker Rehab
Returning home: If you are leaving the expedition Saturday, you will cross the street to the airport where you'll take the quick 15 minute hop flight (included) back to Belize City for your return flight to the U.S.. Most US flights don't leave until at least 1pm or later, so you'll have plenty of time to grab lunch or a few more vacation drinks at the airport. You do have an option to stay longer at our group hotel rate if you find a cheaper U.S. flight later in the week, in which case we will book your hop flight whenever needed. Just let us know!
Sticking around? There’s no need to rush off! If you’re not ready to end your vacation on Saturday, you’re welcome to stay as long as you like! In fact we have quite a few who do! Just let us know if you’ll need to extend your room and we’ll get everything set up for you. Most of our hotels should have availability into the following week and it’s easy to extend your vacation. Just shoot us an email (before or after booking your package) at the email address below and we’ll be happy to help you stick around in paradise!

All guests who book at one of our hotels will receive VIP status which includes: your 7 night room at one of our properties in San Pedro (Saturday to Saturday), your round trip hop flight from BZE to San Pedro, your Caye Caulker round trip private water taxi, reserved seating at all of the private shows as well as VIP welcome party and admittance to all events. Your expenses beyond this will be your US flight to/from BZE, optional golf cart, and all meals and drinks, tips and shopping you do on your own. All other taxes and fees are included.

Our gorgeous accommodations at Sunbreeze Resort in San Pedro couldn't be more convenient, affordable and luxurious! Sunbreeze is our primary host hotel where several of our music shows will take place. This location typically sells out fast, but not to worry, we have other fantastic options literally right next door and others very close in the general area so everything is within reach. All guests staying at any of our hotels will receive VIP status which comes with access to the host hotel (Sunbreeze) grounds, pool and the shows at the Sunbreeze stage as well as VIP only events. Please check out our other properties below.

Due to the overwhelming response of the event each year, we have expanded our accommodations to provide more options for our guests. We know that many of our attendees also travel with groups of friends and so we’ve selected several properties which have availability for varying numbers of rooms and bedrooms and are perfect overflow locations that still put you in the heart of everything and measure up to the quality you’ve come to expect from our event. All of our “Mayan Camp” collection properties are conveniently located within the festival event areas or only steps from the host hotel. All guests staying at any of our hotels will receive VIP status which comes with unlimited access to the host hotel grounds and pool and all locations are convenient to the Sunbreeze-Bluewater Main Stage.

Caye Hotel San Pedro is a perfect spot for solo travelers, groups of friends, or travelers who are just a bit more budget minded.. We’ve chosen this property because of it’s exceptional value and convenient proximity to the host hotel where many of the shows take place. The Caye is literally two blocks from Sunbreeze and because you’ll be VIP, you’re welcome to come use our pool and grounds at any time! Admittedly the rooms are nothing fancy, but they are very clean and comfortable and they have everything you need for a perfect vacation! The hotel was built new from the ground up in late 2024 so all of the rooms have brand new modern touches and comfy beds. It is a great spot in the middle of it all that’ll save you some drinking money and you won’t be spending much time in the rooms anyway!

Sunbreeze Suites is the sister property to our host hotel. It is located approximately a ten minute easy walk up the beach (five minutes by golf cart). This boutique property is in a great location in the heart of it all, with restaurants and shopping just steps away. It features all one-bedroom suites with a separate living room area/dining area and full kitchens. There is a restaurant and small bar on site as well as a nice plunge pool. The property has a total of 20 rooms of which our group takes over half. Sunbreeze Suites is a wonderful location within walking distance of the host hotel and also many of our music venues and camps just to the north.

Mayan Camp #3- Ramon’s Village

Ramon’s Village is simply breathtaking! One of the nicest and best maintained resorts on the entire island; every detail is covered with this property. If you are looking for a unique “resort style” vacation Ramon’s will most certainly impress. All of the Tahitian styled cottages are nestled throughout tropical gardens of Royal Palms, bougainvillea, lilies, hibiscus and dozens of other types of tropical flora. Surrounded by the plant life are Mayan sculptures that provide a glimpse of the civilization that preceded us in this Caribbean paradise. Once inside our enchanted village, you’ll be in a world of your own choosing. The resort has an 80 foot long lagoon style pool that winds in and out of the entire central property, an on site restaurant and snack bar, lots of sugar sand beachfront and is less than a five minute walk to the host hotel. Ramon’s is by far the nicest property we offer; especially if you’re looking for that “American resort” level of service. There’s even an option to add all inclusive meals to your package.

Diamante is a stunning property featuring thoughtfully designed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suites that redefines indulgence. This property is located directly next door to the host hotel and also features a large pool, sundeck and hot tub. Each suite offers a fully equipped kitchen, inviting dining area, and a spacious living room for a homely feel in a picturesque setting. Step outside onto your private balcony to immerse yourself in breathtaking ocean views. Diamante is most certainly on the higher end of our collection, but is perfect for two couples or groups of friends to share the cost and still be right in the heart of the action. If you do the math sharing with two couples, it’s actually the best value in our collection and very conveniently located just steps from the Sunbreeze and all the action!

Blue Tang has a total of nine one bedroom suites which include a living area and kitchen. This property is a perfect location in the heart of the festival, and though they do not have an onsite restaurant/bar, they do include continental breakfast and have a beautiful private pool area. Blue Tang is also only steps from Palapa Bar and many other dining options and bars along the beach strip where many of our music shows will take place. It is about a ten minute golf cart ride from the host hotel. With only nine suites, it’s a great spot to book with your friends!
